Last night's rehearsal was quick and fun. At least for me it was.
We just ran a few scenes as opposed to doing a whole run because quite a few people were not able to make it and I read Melissa's part in a couple of scenes which is always enjoyable.
I attempted to jump from one level of the stage to the other in my rollerskates but failed miserably. I couldn't build up the courage. I skated towards the edge of the stage and kind of fell into Ty and Will's arms instead of jumping off while yelling "catch meeeee!!"
Let's not push it. This shit is dangerous and a 24 year old with a broken wrist is not cute.
This past weekend I went to go see Devendra Banhart perform at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood at a book release party. I love love love it when fantastic artists make their work available for free and do fun little shows like this. It's so refreshing and it was really fun and a great crowd, great space and great music set. He performed with Adam Tullie and Greg Rogove. Mariana got some pictures.

I really loved the space as well, very conducive to this kind of intimate performance. Too bad I was blocked by some beastly amazon standing in front of me for most of the show.
I'm just jealzies.
