I cannot sleep.
Probably a combination of heat and headache and can't shut my mind off.
We did a full run through of the play tonight. Definitely a stumble-through but we actually got through it and I am amazed that I knew where to be, relatively.
I read for Amy's part since she is shooting her guest spot on Ghost Whisperer this week. So I got to do all the Phil's Girl scenes on roller skates. Just silliness.
I was also very worried about having to go backstage to do crosses during the show because the stage is elevated and there are about five metal steps to get up and down from the wings on either side. And that would be way too loud and dangerous to do during a show in my "suicide boots" (thanks Ty). But luckily my crosses worked out that I can just enter and exit fluidly from whence I came and don't even need to worry about that.
I wish I had a nice camera to document all this. A fellow blogger whom I adore uses this camera but I actually just shrieked when I saw the price and woke up Maeby. She started barking and ran to the stairs because she thought there was an intruder. Such a brave little toaster.
Aaaaand now since it is officially Tuesday and I cannot sleep, here is a list of
Things I Love Tuesday:
1. Maebelline Sassafrass Funke

Not technically a thing, but beloved regardless.
2. French Magazines

(I need to interrupt my list to remind my readers to save their work. I just accidentally deleted this entire post and nearly had a heart attack. God bless the Undo button)
3. Fantastically Epic Film Trailers
4. A Brilliant Music Video/Song Combination
MGMT - Kids
(wouldn't let me embed, definitely worth the click)
5. Teeny Tiny Adorable Women Who Can Sing Their Asses Off
One Miss Kristen Chenoweth.
6. Shakespeare

7. While We Are on the Subject of Playwrights
Charles Mee
8. Yoga
9. Tea
White tea, Green tea, Black tea, Breakfast tea, Chamomile tea. All teas.
And they fix everything! Skin, weight, metabolism, hair, delicious.
10. New Cotton Sheets

(Which I would like to point out, my mother bought for my bed, not because I was suffering in my hot wintertime flannel sheets, but because she was concerned that Maeby was overheating at night)
All this stuff informs our art, right?
